my nearly new 1210 m5g just broke, it just decided to stop working. i have only had the thing for about 5 months :( it was working one minute, then i switched it all off and dusted everything with a feather duster, put the carts back on and zip, its dead.

all the wires are as good as the day i bought it, changed the fuse in the plug, still dead

needless to say, :whip: :whip: :whip:

i might use this as an excuse to swap it for the new vestax beast :toothless
R.j.
that sucks for you, oh well get the other mixer you mentioned.

Did you try to plug it in?
Zild
I've never heard of that happening. Might want to check out your connections and make sure you didn't accidently switch it over to US voltage. I have a friend that switched his over to Euro voltage here in the states and then couldn't figure out why his motor was "burned out".

BTW I thought these things weren't supposed to break... 5 months old you say?... and it broke you say?... TECHS you say?... hmmmm... Interessting... very interessting.

lol, yes, and for some strange reason i even tried a different socket..

i have had the thing on its back, all the wires are tip top, as are the voltage settings. as i said the thing is approx 5 months old, my numarks lasted longer :stongue:

no these things arn't supposed to break, especially things that cost £475.
beats and beeps

Don't suppose you removed the Main platter and checked the fuse thats connected to the main PCB board.. that could have blown SOME how...

Might want to check it..;)
Spin Doctor
Feather duster = static. I bet the internal fuse has gone, that's all.
