Cheese is a good, high-protein food IF (I repeat, IF) it is real cheese, without added color or extra junk. If the pizza comes from a fast food place then your eating processed cheese---can you feel the constipation yet?
The tomatoe sauce comes from a supplier who pasturizes it(boils and kills all the nutrients) and adds preservatives like sugar, citric acid (better add your name to the diabetic foundation of Canada) and may even inject back the vitamine C and calcium lost during pasturization.
Traditional pizzas are not made like the fast food pizza's....they actually use real ingrediants. But since fast food is cheaper...it drove away all the business of keeping pizza's wholesome (loss of value and quality).

Actually i believe ontario law says that real cheese must ALWAYS be used on pizzas (to protect the dairy farmers) so there goes that conspiracy theory.
Dude, im not going to die from eating a pizza so give up! And to Karim, market forces did not coerce me into buying the pizza. I happen to LIKE pizza. |

Ok...you keep believing that one...after all why would any corp have lobbyist around to ensure processed cheese is sold.

Surprising that you'd assume that, given that I only argue with things that appear to me as being objectively incorrect. The colour of the sky is something that can be easily ascertained with an upward glance.
On the other hand, I could picture you responding to a statement that the sky is blue with a claim that the actual colour is really relative from person to person and "blue" just happens to be my interpretation.

Guys if you care anything about your own health read "Fit for Life" to find out about milk and cheese...since you don't seem to know much.
Also read Agriculture Canada's Food Processing which details that "Industrial milk is used to manufacture dairy products such as processed cheese, creamery butter, condensed and evaporated milk, ice cream, yoghourt, frozen desserts including novelties, sherbets, etc. Increasingly, these products are also in demand by further processors who use cheese, butter, milk powders, condensed milk, as key ingredients in other food products such as soups, sauces, pizzas, baked goods, entrees and confectionery products."
If after all this you still refuse to accept the facts...then live happily ever after with your own ignorance. The End. |

I've read it already. "Fat for Life" is like a hundred years old already.
I can assure you that I know all about the horrible that goes into milk and the horrible that's done to that horrible milk before it gets used in mass-produced dairy products. That's why I generally stay away from dairy products and stick to meat, fruit, vegetables, and complex carbohydrates.
That still has nothing to do with processed cheese being used in pizza parlours. What they're talking about is more likely to do with the frozen McCain's pizzas you see in the supermarket freezer.
For someone who makes a habit of telling other people how arrogant they are, you seem to be pretty arrogant and condescending yourself. Not only that, but you base your comments on assumptions about what we know or don't know without bothering to ask. Very poor attitude. |

Eat a well balanced diet (including some junk food treats), excerisize and the rest is up to God.
