| All this hating is incredible. I have seen Oakie a lot of times here and in front of 15,000 people at the better living centre. He is the originator and pioneer of the music and scene we are all into. Everytime he comes here in the past couple of years, everyone spits on him, then they go to the show and can't rave enough of what a set he had. Before that this guy was the best. Even Tiesto, who has brought it to the next level cannot compare to Oakie in his days. I have been critical of him in the last couple of years but if you weren't there in the nineties, then really you just don't UNDERSTAND who Oakie is, the is and will only be ONE OAKIE! |

Agree. On the other hand the last time he was here in July 04 his set lasted just over an hour. He just left the decks and all of us standing asking ????. It was total garbage. The time before that forgettable too. Same with the time before that.
I can appreciate him for what he did. But I will never ever spend a dollar on an Oakenfold product in the future.
This is not hating rather than reality. Plus those overly airbrushed pictures are disturbing. They remind me of a Las Vegas billboard. Ever hear of Clint Holmes?
Oakenford has his day, so did Pamela Anderson. Remember him in his prime.
