Oakie got me into this music... The first time I heard Tranceport I was hooked. In the past few years, he's disappointed me..
Aug. 19 2004- Amnsesia, Ibiza- Oakie, Tiesto, then PVD.. I was so psyched to see Tiesto and PVD. Oakie started, and Tiesto was supposed to come on at 1:00- well, it turned out Tiesto had an ear infection, so Oakie spun in his place. I was disappointed at first, but Oakenfold rocked the place. He was so good!! Everyone in the club responded very well to him and he spun a great set. Once again I'm appreciative of him and what he's done (and is still doing) for the music! |
I wish I could agree man, but it's so sad that he has become another pop-dance casualty. Tranceport is one of the most amazing CD's ive ever heard, then I got Great Wall, WTF? Creamfields? WTF?, Downhill since Bunkka, end of story. |

just got this yesterday... have heard it three times already, i like it... some of the songs towards the beginning of the cd are so so but i really love the u2 track (same as creamfields...just longer) and the new jan johnston track and the one right after hers.

I thought Great Wall was pretty good. Infusion - Legacy, Blackwatch and Quivver - Loveless, etc.
How's LA Woman sound? I read the tracklist and was suprised to see the doors on there. |

Creamfields WTF? This is one of the biggest suprise for year 2004 imo. One of my favourite compilations of all time! |

| I really like the LA Woman remix, it seems fairly simple but its catchy for a Doors fan like me. It does seem odd to have PPK - Ressurection mixed with all these newer tunes and most of which are oakenfold/perfecto tracks, but I still like the track and I always whistle along with the synth line (hehe). The Beautiful Day remix is pretty nice too. All in all, its nothing like Tranceport or Oakenfold's other trance compilations, but I would label it a nice "club" mix type cd. |

| Does "Deadly Avenger - Artisan" sample the same track as "Orkidea - Unity"? |

| i agree that PPK - Resurection is out of place.... |
