well what can I say. Steve Strangis' set was the highlight of Summadayze for me. Great mix of old and new and yes the Carte blance tune he played was Digital Delinquents - 2 Do Anything (whitelabel) - Steve, great to hear Flight 643 and Universal Nation in the sun :D Well done man!

was great to see most of the Ta's mixing it up in the sun and as it was my first Summadayze party, it has left a lasting impression of how awesome 2005 is going to be.

See you all soon ;)

See, now why couldn't he have played that at Sublime NYE!! He played all the other tracks you listed though. Woulda loved Automanual too and maybe some Alt+F4.

Even the trance he played was high on vocals and low on rippling synths & angelic voxes -- a sign of the times?

Yep, same in Syd on NYE. Too much vocal for my liking in fact. At a day party would have been a different vibe I'm sure.

finally after a massive massive weekend i have returned able (however not willing) to work.

went out for what was supposed to be a quiet one in preperation for Summadayze, however didnt end up getting any sleep at all and had to power on for summadayze.

arrived there around 1 or so, and was inside by about 1:30. wasnt too aggro with the line, didnt see any sniffer dogs, so was lucky as im alergic to them :D

stepped into see De La Soul on mainstage and was immediately disgusted, so we got our bearings and went to house dayze and saw Body Rockers, who i was very impressed with..

then it was off on walking around to trancedazye tent where we saw strangis.. he was following some pretty hard trance stuff. so i was wondering what he was going to open with.. and to our delight it was Love Comes Again (Mark Norman Remix), then onto Andy Hunter - Go (Antillas Remix) which was personally thrown out to me in my desperate attempts to get this on vinyl :)

yay, it was great to hear it twice in one day

overall, great set by steve.. and he was having aball.. all the usual stuff that people have said already

still awaiting pana's photos.. (Come on chrissy.. get your together :)

rest of the day a blur, till armin.

armin rocked.. went to afterparty, disappointed at no show and bull rumour and then went home

*Marcos - For A Day
*DJ Tiësto vs. Armin Van Buuren - Yet Another Day vs. Suburban Train
*Carte Blanche - Carte Blanche (?unknown new remix?)
*Nirvana - Smells Like Teen Spirit (BK Bootleg)

There were about 2 songs i missed out on. Armin was recently quoted saying "I'll start to road test my new tunes for the first time in Australia" which could mean these 2 tracks were some of his new works which will be on his new album due out next year. I know for certain one of them was one of his new tracks.

What did use think??

Very nice work with the tracklisting.

Of the two songs you missed, one was definately:
Armin Vs. M.I.K.E. - Pound

This is my song of the moment which is why I knew it straight away. Not sure what the other one was although it could have been Armin's other new song: Armin Vs. M.I.K.E. - Intruder

All up is was a fukin awesome set!

deluxe and emerson also played new order - blue monday.

the dodgy wristband trick didnt work this year, they had different ones to last year where the sticky bit broke when u tried to remove it. A mate made abit of money last year selling them, he was spewing couldnt do it this year.
