| im planing on building a dj booth and a bar at the same time or something in those lines like bar dj both togher something nice like that anyone have any pictures or ideas anything wuodl help i got the skills to do it and tools i just want to get some ideas to get my started and stuff.. |

I got pic of my custom booth, that I made in the Bedroom DJ thread. just not sure what page they are on... :tongue2
3/4inch MDF wood is prolly your best option, its usually pretty cheap, but really strong and durable.
Draw up an idea of what you have in mind, with the dimensions you will need to fit all your equipment, and have at err.
You will need a saw (jig or circular), belt sander might be useful, drill for pre-drilling holes because screws or nails with split the wood if you don't pre-drill. maybe some reinforcing brackets in needed. then just put your imagination to work.

| Hmmm...a bar with lots of drinks being poured/spilled right next to s DJ booth full of expensive electronics...sounds like a recipe for disaster to me... |

Never underestimate the ability of a drunkard to ruin your equipment with a well-placed drink spill. Something to think about. I'm not knocking the idea of builing both dj booth and bar, but I would suggest that you seperate them a bit. |

i've seen many an expensive piece of gear ruined from some drunk retard
i would even suggest you put the dj booth across the room from the bar |
