I was joking. I actually did watch the movie yesterday. It was good. As others have already commented, the music in this movie is great. But I do think there were some flaws with some of the characters. But it was still a good movie.
I'll try to check "Sideways" soon.

| im a huge fan of independent movies, and i must say that Garden State sucks...I live in Jersey, so it does somewhat a good portrayal of the social situations that we encounter, such as hanging out at the rich jewish kids house whos rents are loaded and doing crazy ...and it kindof shows well how ur average post H.S. kids endup in this wretched state...ripping bongs and working at medieval times hehe, but overall i thought the movie was promising at the begining, then just made less and less sense as it moved along, i think the artistic side took over and the director forgot that the movie also needed plot and a ing point, think he forgot those while trying to be artsy. The main character in the movie...damn i can relate to him, personality wise. |

Just saw this movie tonight and it was very good. Not as good as I expected it to be but I went in to it expecting too much I guess with all its Oscar hype. The guy who made it is Alexander Payne, the same guy that made Election, which I think is his best film. |
