Newspaper Al Bayan on Tuesday announced about the alleged capture of Abu Musab al-Zarqawi in Iraq - the emissary of Al Queda in that country, the head of one of the most radical and bloody islamic groups "At Tayhid val Jihad", renamed recently to "Kidat al Jihad"
The newspaper cites on Kurdish sources, which were the first to inform about the discovery and capture of deposed president of Iraq, Saddam Husein.
Accourding to the sources of Al Bayan, Abu Musab al Zarqawi was captured in the town of Baakuba, located to tne north of Bagdad, reports Interfax. There are no official confirmation of these news.
Namely, the Pentagon at this time has not confirmed the fact of capture of al Zarqawi. "He's not arrested. News of his capture are not accurate" - Pentagon representative stated to all-arabian newspaper Asharq Al-Awast.

Al Zarqawi may be captured, but I don't think it will matter much. The organization will still function without him.
It's the same old idea as when your teacher asked you what would happen if some secret agent killed Hitler. The Nazi agenda would've kept going, but it would have been twisted to some other guys ideals. |
