damn north/south divide :whip:

chojin, if you're mates are taking it on a daily basis, that is a sign of addiction. You should lecture them! I have nothing against recreational use, but when you begin to depend on it to get through the day, then you know you've got problems.

It all depends on personality, do you have an addictive one? Do you find that when you find something new and you really like it, will you do lots of it? Do you obsess over things etc? I know, for a fact, that i will probably not have any sort of addiction to anything like that. Some stuff i do occasionally, the harder stuff is even less frequent than that. I know when i've had enough, and i can distinguish between a small amount and a large amount. And i can consider if its enough for the night or not.

that comment confuses me .. surely profit is jsut due to how much you deal with in the end .. so one dealer perhaps cuts up his before he sells to make a little extra .. end of day its how much you shift and thus that goes by how big a risk you take .. there will always have to be dealers as long as drugs are illegal and they do us a service by providing that what we need as such imo if they make a living or a huge profit is irrelevant ..

drugs are well expensive in london... i know people who used to drive all the way down the M1 form sheffield just to sell pills in london clubs cos they can get such silly prices for them. it's usually £40/g of coke in sheffield.

personally I'd love to see coke annihilated from the face of the earth.. ing vile drug... don't damage ur body much, but it slowly eats away at your soul.

those 'experts' raised some interesting points about prohibition.

So its on again tonight?

CraSHer[UK]
yeah it is on again tonight.

I hope the bbc will have a less one sided, drug glamourising episode tonight. Pretty irresponsible of them really.

Ok fair enough, dealing drugs isnt rocket science, and yes recreasional use of coke and extacsy, for people who have non - addicitve personalities (i.e a brain cell) isnt gonna pose you any problems whatsoever.

But i am suprised the bbc glamourised (sp?) it all. Especially for impressionable young kids who would have been watching.

I would have liked the bbc to have included (more) accounts from people who have spent considerable time in jail for dealing, lost thier jobs and homelife from drug addiction, being caught up in drug related crime.

Stupid documentary if you ask me.

I think you'll get a lot more of that tonight since it focuses on crack and smack. If you let the drug take control of you, you will be more likely to lose you job/homelife/family/whatever

the documentary was a bit glamourising, which may be immoral, but it is a change from the normal anti drug stance. Besides, the media industry is saturated in coke anyway ;)
