asylum seekers are asylum seekers. they existed back in 60s and 70s and they exist now.

I think what he's trying to say is that a lot more asylum seekers that came into the country 30 years ago were genuine, and not just here to abuse our relaxed laws and claim benefits:whip:

I think they should put some heavy machine gun emplacements at the ports, and gun the ******s down on arrival, then we wouldn't have to pay for their legal aid, and their 10 bedroom house for their whole family, and their car, and their food, and their travel, and their clothes, and everything they own:mad: . It would also stop a lot of them coming across, if they thought they were going to get shot

Sorry, i know this is nothing to do woth the original thread, but i needed to say it

bollocks.

It's well publicised that drug dealers push this filth onto kids as young as 13. How the can you blame a 13 year old for taking a smoke of a pipe, when it's all they ever see around them.

The Manchester documentary was depressing and degrading. I think its disturbing and sick why people live their life’s like that. The only way they will get of the drugs, is if their standard of living changes, and not jailing them.

ooh another thing i want to add, with people talking about "gateway" drugs.

Its absolute bull that cannabis is a gateway drug.

Bollocks. Almost all the young lads you saw in that documentary were smoking cannabis.

And thats exactly how that tool who was jabbing herion into his arm left right and centre to find a vein, started.

When they lent the kids the video camera, you saw practically all of them were smoking weed. And they are the kids who are gonna move on to crack and heroin. simple as.

i think it just happens that a lot of people smoke cannabis. if those people then decide to take something else then it hasnt got anything to do with cannabis, its just coincidence that the also smoke cannabis. i know plenty of drug users who don't smoke cannabis.

fact of the matter is, its actually quite rare (in my experience anyway) to find a weed dealer who sells anything harder than mushrooms as well. i have known 1 such dealer in my entire drug taking career, and that spans quite some time i assure you ;)

exactly ..

and i dont agree with the comments made here about gateway drugs .. cigarettes might have been a stepping stone to cannabis but it definately aint to crack/heroin ..

at the end of the day, you can always say no. maybe there is more of a social pressure to take them if theyre all around you, but you always have a choice. otherwise, ALL kids of junkies would automatically become junkies according to your theory, and this isnt the case. kids know froma pretty young age whats good and bad for them, especially these days with drug education everywhere.

i presume by asylum seekers you mean the blacks and the indians etc.? well these were economic immigrants, not asylum seekers and they were welcomed by the british government to do manual labour jobs.

i think your being a bit cold hearted to the genuine aylum seekers who are facing genocides etc. many of them are facing being gunnned down by machine guns in their own country, and dont even want leave. they may be doctors or engineers in their own country and through no fault of their own they are being forced to leave. indeed, some of the doctors that are working in our NHS today, are asyluim seekers who are working for free, as they want to use their medical skills to help out and contribute for the benefits they are receiving.

obvious;y there are some scroungers, in fact a lot of scroungers, but i think its unfair to tarnish all asylum sekers with the same brush.

£5 for a pill??!? that in outrages by my standards. i wont pay a penny over £1.50 for one! The ones i take are pretty pure on the whole aswell, i've been taking them for 10 months now and it never takes more than 2 pills max to get extremely high. Hell, i think i better start dealing over the internet. Anyone want to buy some doves for £3 each? :p
