Anyone else getting Resident Evil 4? (pg. 3)

I just got to disc 2 last night and played about an hour into it. It's amazing how well the pace switches. Did you notice this as well? At one point you're taking on hordes of villagers/monks, blowing their heads apart with your shotgun...and then all of the sudden it goes classic RE; all quiet, creepy. I think the first hour or 2 of Disc 2 is the best example of this. Pay attention to it when you're playing through it.
But yea...smazing game. I recommend it to anyone who lost faith in Resident Evil, cause this game is leagues above the previous RE's. No more stupid puzzle solving. All the focus went on the pacing, atmosphere and action of the game. The gameplay is totally different; while still staying true to the "RE feel". |

I think i'm close to disc 2, but I could be wrong.
I just was in the sewers where you had to get the elevator powered back up and I just went down, I think that's the end of chapter 4-1. |

| Damn from reading all these posts on this thread... i really really want to play this game bad. Good thing i have a gamecube even though i havent played it in a long time. I guess i can make good use out of it now. |

nope he hasnt touched in gamecube in at least 2 years lol, he said i could keep it if i bought him burger king :haha: :haha:

oh man is he ever missing out!! lol, let him play the game in like a month after the Cube went to you and see how he begs for it back :p

| Got the game the other week. It's quite possibly the best gcn and maybe one of the best games I have played in the last 5 years. I got my head chopped off a couple of times..damnit :whip: |

I have to jump in on this bandwagon fellas...
I bought this game Friday night and did not put it down until late Sunday. It is beyond amazing, worth buying the GC IMO just for this game alone, its that good. The graphics are jaw dropping and at times I cannot believe I'm playing this on the GC. All I can think about now as I'm here at work, is getting home to play again. No game has done this to me in quite some time... |
