Ok I admit it... I'm old. Dirt old. I've done Guv, Industry, System, Turbo. I've seen Tenaglia, Armand Van Helden (great show at Guv), Deep Dish, Dimitri f/Paris, Farina, Sneak, Oliver (of course).

I haven't gone to "parties" for a few years. Probably a good thing. But lately I'm really getting the urge for the full experience. I guess it never goes away.

I'm totally out of touch.

Where are the good vibe places to hear explosive tracks and dance?

Never too old to dance.

Check out the event forum listings here.

Personally, I'd recommend these upcoming events:

- Boa's one year anniversary with Satoshi Tomiie (Progressive House)
- 2005.02.12. Destiny & TR - Together as 1 w/ KAI TRACID, MATT HARDWICK and more (Trance, Hard Trance, Drum and Bass)

Good luck finding a great party!

yep, keep an eye out on the event listings section. wait for a dj you really like at a smaller venue, so you'll get the both of two pleasures.. the tunes and the vibe! (ie. system s)

What's the crowd like at Boa?

Is guv still pretty much the same as 3 years ago? How is the scene different?
Sly_Guy
boa is as close to industry as you can get these days. The crowd is the 'more mature' party-goer. Glowsticks, whistles, extremely bright clothing are a thing of the past, you won't get the juiceheads, cracked out people, or *many* plastic women that you'd get at the guvernment. However, boa's music is limited to house and progressive for the most part, whereas at the guv you'll still get more of a mix.

CZ - 8 am Sunday Mornings.

Boa - Late Saturday Nights/Early Sunday Mornings.

Don't waste time elsewhere.

Give Republik a try when it opens as well.

Sure, but lets be a little more specific here - Mark Oliver's set won't disappoint.

Ive actually met some regulars at Boa who are well into their thirties and they love it. Come out on a Saturday night, and you'll be sure to have a wicked time. PM me if you'd like more info or guestlist anytime.
