What should we play upstairs at Fez Batik on Wednesdays?

The place has been filling up, and hit cap 2 weeks back so I am sure we will be able to justify opening the top floor soon enough. I was thinking of tribal and deep house, but I am open to suggestions :-)
PS: I intend on keeping this as a free event for as long as possible :D (So long as the club is happy with bar sale lol) |

I was just about to post that.. I forgot.
Jason Moore is on from 9-10pm and then Manzone and Strong are in the main room spinning their own funky blend of house. |

it would be great to have different genres being played on a designated wednesday every month.
ex: 1st wednesday of evry month ----> tribal
2nd " " ----> Progressive/funky
3rd " " ----> trance/tecno
4th " " ----> new talent night (mixture)
i think this would work, and would benefit everyone. |

based on teh way fez batik is setup and decorated, i would say chillout breaks
its not a good place for trance, techno and all that stuff...but breaks would be sweet there |

Right now we keep downstairs very chillout and mellow, until 12:30ish when the place is packed and we pickup the pace :)
I might go the route of changing the rotation each week upstairs for 2 months or so and then stick with whatever people like. I am *thinking* about putting another big DJ upstairs (Addy, Deko-ze, etc), but I don't know yet. We would probably charge $3.50 cover after midnight for guys or something if we did that. Not sure. If the place was always full, there would be no cover, but who knows. Keep the input coming. I think it'll be 2-3 weeks before we open upstairs, so there is lots of time to plan :D |
