| it all depends on what you use it for ... if you're just surfing the net it doesn't matter either way ... if you want games you need a pc .... if you make music I hear mac has a lot of very good apps |

Powerbook > iBook. IF you want a decent performing machine, with an every decreasing price. Then get the powerbook. BTW Mac laptops = only way to go:D |

| Mac. I have had one crash in almost a year of having my powerbook. One. Wait let me repeat that. One. When I had a PC and everybody I know who has a PC has had too many to count. Sure I can't game on my computer, but then again I don't have to reinstall all of my software every other month if I want to keep my computer running smoothly. |

Ideally, I'd love to have a high-end desktop running windows for gaming and PC programs. And a Mac laptop for graphics/music/web design etc.
What's stopping me? $$$ :( |

Never had a Mac so can't compare... However my pc sucks enormeous* so it was a close victory for the pc :P

I've been a Mac user for 5 years and I'll tell you one thing.... I can't ing wait to get a PC.
Mac's do have their advantages though. For example they look nice :P But seriously, if I get properly into producing it would be good to have one around. |
