Well, I had it installed a month ago and its not that bad...
If you're using win2k I dont recommend upgrading, its just now worth it, but if you're on win98/ME, go for it - it REALLY is stable! |

| i heard from a friend of mine dat Windows XP needs 700mb of RAM  i saw da interface and da layout, and overall its looks impressive, with its new features and its easier 2 use, well u'll be da judge of dat :D |

| true... except for the RAM part, it handles just fine with my friend's 128SDRAM and my 256RDRam :D |

i voted the first option, but I dont think it's worth the money,
microsoft's prices are to high in my opinion. (:whip:)
but I don't think the interface is childish or whatever, I think
it's a cool, new, modern look.... way better than the *sucky* *sucky*
gui they had before...
I use it since the first beta, and now i got the pro version... i think it rules, if u can get your hands on the right drivers!
if u dont have a little bit "new" computer u shouldn't think about installing XP, cuz it'll only slow u down and u get frustrated looking
for drivers...

Had XP since beta 2, then RC2, now the actual version.
It's the best operating system, people have to understand that Windows 98 SE, can become a thing of the past. I would recommend that everyone get it. It's fast, easy to use, looks cool, has a lot of things built in (like cd burning which was buggy but fixed, unzipping program, and digital image viewing).
Have run a few games on it as well, and they seem to run very fluid.
Go get XP!
And no, I don't work for Microsoft. I can say this,
they're still into forcing their own stuff on you. My only complaint is how annoying Windows Messenger can get. |
