Jazz Clubs/bars?

| OK so it's been a while since i've last been to a jazz bar. I use to go to one in the Roncessvilles area near my old house pretty regular. After spending the entire night listening to Miles Davis I figure I have to find some new places. Anybody have any ideas? Better yet who wants to tag along? Live jazz is prefered ofcourse. |

| well i don't know of any thre, but the senator near dundas and yonge has a jazz night - also there is a bar/lounge at wellington and front street/ kiddy corner at CHURCH st.. it is a great little palce - BUt i totally forget the name - if i think of any other i will be sure to let you know! |

rex on queen is a jazz bar. a live one at that.

there are absolutely no jazz bars/clubs in my area.. so avoid it by all means..
however, if u are looking for some really decent Chinese food afterwards, i'm ur man!
i think i'll check some of these places out btw .. :D

theres alley cats on yonge and eglinton
and then theres that place which RyanM and CAllie5's friend was singing..potato blues (but im not sure if its jazz/swing on regular nights) |

| live jazz over dinner at the montreal jazz bistro on sherbourne. Its quite nice actually. A good date place. (preferably second date) |

The food is great there, too... The bistro salad is my favourite. It's got smoked turkey, proscuitto ham, goat cheese, and a lovely vinagrette! Mmmmm. Making me hungry just thinking about it! |

| Resevoir Lounge on Wellington used to have a cool jazz/swing night...not sure if it is still going but it was quite good as well, set in a dark bricked basement bar with good food and drink. |
