| Most people here have put at least $1000 into their equipment, and care for it greatly, I'm just wondering if you let one of your friends who has no idea about DJing play around with your gear? |

| I did till my styli and vinyl got jacked up. After that, if anybody touches my stuff, I use their car as a target for my paintball gun. :gsmile: |

Yes, but I'm always standing right behind them watching intently. I've already lost 1 stylus to some carelessness. |

come smashing down on the stylus/vinyl, and next thing u know, u have to pull out those extra styluses u wanted to save til next year... |

Unless I'm teaching, which I do from time to time I have to say that I totally hate letting people who aren't DJs use my gear.
Constant trainwrecking and spin backs irritates the out of me.

So true...and how about those friends that do a quick fade from track A to track B and look at you as if they just made the best transition anyone ever made :stongue:.
Basically if they can't tie their own shoes, I won't even let them look at my gear.
