YESSSSSSSSS:crazy:
I cant explain how happy i am for Marin:gsmile:
So it just before 10am here, and i'm ANXIOUSLY watching Federer struggle with Tipsarevic.
I wake up to see Tipsarevic up 2 sets to 1, but currently its Federer 5-1 in the 4th.
I'm locked into this match right now that my focus couldnt possibly be broken.
This 5th set's got me WORRIED coz anything can happen in one set.
Altho my confidence in Roger is supreme....
I'm tellin you, this is how i know Roger is my fave athlete...i'm freakin NERVOUS, like i'm sittin in his player's box:nervous: :nervous:
Set's done, Federer 6-1. On to the 5th |

Federer's words:
| quote: |
"But it was a great match. He played fantastic tennis throughout and it came down to the wire, so, yeah, I'm happy. I'm the one who came through.
"I missed quite a few shots in the beginning so that cost me dearly and let him back into the match.
"He did well. He fought really hard and didn't miss much, and he was way better than back when I played him in Davis Cup and beat him quite easily."

Outstanding night of tennis!!!
Federer / Tipsarivic was just mindblowing.
Hewitt / Bagdatis was just as gripping though the quality of tennis wasn't as high. |

NO DOUBT!! I konw that worry and feeling in your gut too well... experienced it many times w/ justine when going up against certain big players... esp Serena.
(thankfully shes ahead on that front though w/ face to face meets against serena... atleast in grand slams i know)
MAN... I missed the 2 HUGEEEEEEEEEE mens matches!! :( UGH
When i finally got home to watch last night from the city, on had the Sharapova match on, and the Vaidisova one.
Bollucks. I missed out this weekend! :( |

Sad to see Nicole Vaidisova go out to Serena :(
She`s prolly my 3rd favourite tennis player at the moment.
A matchup I cant recall having even seen, but so want to, is:
Nicole Vaidisova vs. Jelena Jankovic.
Not sure exactly why, but if I could pick two players to go head to head right now on the mens or womens side, it would be those two. |
