2 people are dead and 80 homeless after mudslides destroy a neighbourhood.
Now here is my question. Is gallavanting Paul Martin going to tour the damage and express his condolences to his own people or does that not generate a good amount of political capital?
I hope we all understand that the grandstanding in asia is purely for vote getting in ethnic communities back home. I'm not attacking just Liberals for this because im sure any political party would do this but either way i think its a disgusting waste of money.
So mr Martin? When should we expect to see you in BC? |

~200,000 people die....2 people die...I think more people die in traffic accidents in TO every day...more people get murdered in TO lately too...ok fine so 80 are homeless, that sucks...but we live in Canada where we have things to deal with that.
Besides Martin's trip to ASIA isn't only for tsunami purposes...he was in China and Japan meeting with leaders and discussing trade and business possibilities... |

However those 2 people died on Canadian soil. Again, if he wasnt just grandstanding he'd be supporting disasters at home in the same way as those on foreign soil. |
