York is not the only university infested with this Palestine protesting bull.
TO THE PROTESTERS: if you're so ing adament about your country, GO THE HOME.
We have a freedom to speach in Canada, but these days I feel the right is being exploited, and I'm losing passion for my country.
I'm open-minded, tolerant, and educated. I support immigrants coming to this country, mingling, adjusting, and working hard. But some of the muslims(and Jews, for that matter) that come here to use Canada as a safe haven to bitch about things they aren't even involved anymore is really getting to me.
I'm almost tempted to say keep Canada to common wealth citizens only.

Exactly. I almost want to start an activist group that protests the bringing of bull drama from other countries into MY country.
My family is from Ireland and they have been directly negatively affected by the Brits, but you don't see me running around pulling bull like these morons do. |

This Pro Israel and Pro Palestine protesting bull has got to stop at YORK on both sides!!!:whip: If everyone loves Israel and Palestine so much then they should just go live there and join the Israeli Military or PLO or just protest till the cows or camels come home!:rolleyes:
If you guys think that YORK is bad with this protesting stuff then just go to Concordia and see how crazy things are over there with both sides bitching all the time:eek: |

Life is too short for all the hatred spewed back and forth. The Israel-Palestine issue is a just a recurring cycle of hatred that accomplishes nothing. For all the people who have been vehemently arguing for their beloved countries, they will look back on their life and realize they have accomplished nothing but years of inane quarrels and bickering.
The other day I watched Fight Club, and Pitt's spiel about how nothing great has happened in our life time hit me. Wouldn't it be amazing if in our time, all religions accomplished peace and harmonious relations? That would be a significant milestone for our time, supplanting World Wars, technological advancements, and Newton theories. |

For the record, notice how I'm willing to give people with whom I disagree the freedom of speech and the right to protest, even if they are scum. (The only proviso being that they remain peaceful, which they did not).
