Hi all,
Did you ever wake up with some 'shock' going through your body?
I don't mean an electric shock, and it also doesn't hurt, but when the shocking thing happens, you are awake instantly again.
Most of the time it happens to me when i'm lying on my back in bed, and i'm just about to go in a deep sleep. Then i usually see myself falling from a building, or taking a wrong step or something, and then it happens: you wake up with this sort of shock going through your body... And the weird thing is: when i'm awake i kind of like it that it happened to me again :D
Ever experienced this?? |
I have totally had this happen! It's both scary and not, it's pretty damn cool  |

I get this nearly every night. when i was younger i use to twitch when i saw a photo of my family in a dream? now it's when ever i trip, jump or fall it happens. |

Definitely have had this happen. It's like my back arches up suddenly, startling me awake. I cannot recall when I last had this happen to me, but I know it only happens when I am laying flat on my back.
Hmm, now I want it to happen. That would be sweet :)
OBE = Out of Body Experience?
That would be sweeter! |

I get these A LOT but I havn't convinced myself they are serious yet.
I will say this: If they continue throughout my life, I will probobly have to have something done about it, because I can actually feel my heart strain from it. It's like being shocked with 10,000 Volts (or any amount that is a lot). |

yep. the most intense one i've had happened the other day at school :p
i was in study hall and i was really tired, so i put my head down and had just dozed off when it literally felt as if i was pulled straight back out of my chair at a very high velocity. my heart started goign crazy and i just sort of picked my head up, looked around (to see if anyone was looking at me, considering it sure felt like i had moved, although i didnt) and then put my head back down for 30 more minutes... it was SO incredibly intense. |
