If anybody has the time - go check out the lake today. And do it before it gets dark!
The sun is shining, the sky is bright blue, but over the lake there is a layer 100 feet high of fog, and what looks like steam rising up over the water.
Absolutely FANTASTIC. |

The steam actually looks more like rolling clouds which rise to about 100 feet off the water (then clear blue sky above), starting at maybe 300 to 400 feet out off the shore.
If you look at it long enough it looks like a big wall of frothing clouds coming in towards the shore.
I don't have a camera, otherwise I would take a photo. It's pretty sweet however. |

i saw this happen last year from the 50th floor of first canadian place.
clouds forming right off the water right???
and u can see the new clouds sail off into the distance too...... truly remarkable |

I HIGHLY doubt that it is anything in comparison to what was seen today - I hope you took a pic of this RJ! don't let your photography sisters (Nat, dal and Margs) down! anyways anydays - have a good one!
btw at www.toronto.com there is a live feed camera that i took a lookie at it earlier today - Truly Fantastic!
