WHO: MY NAME IS CURLY AND I AM THE HOST OF (TECHNO)LOGICAL. MY MISSION IS TO BRING QUALITY ELECTRONIC DANCE MUSIC TO THE AIRWAVES. IT IS MY JOB TO FIND AWESOME DJ'S TO COME IN AND SHOWCASE THEIR TALENTS AND SHOW TO THE PEOPLE IN RADIO LAND WHAT DANCE MUSIC IS ALL ABOUT.
WHY: THE SHOW GETS STREAMED LIVE OVER THE INTERNET WHERE PEOPLE FROM ALL OVER THE COUNTRY AND EVEN THE WORLD HAVE BEEN TUNING IN. I WANT TO SHOW TO THESE PEOPLE, AND TO THE PEOPLE OF SANTA BARBARA, THAT WE HAVE AN ELECTRONIC DANCE MUSIC SCENE HERE IN SANTA BARBARA AND THAT IT IS GROWING STRONG.

| haha gotta start somewhere. when i applied for the show, there were only 10 open slots available and there were 200 applicants. luckily everyone was competing for an indie rock or underground hip hop show, and i was the only one going for electronic dance music...which we barely have anything of. i lucked out. michael conway's set was siiiiiiiiiick. i'll post the playlist soon along with a link to the live 2 hour mix that he did. i had a blast and he may be spinnin again next week for me. =) |
