Exactly... so when women can push guys like you around then why should they bother with a guy who has a spine and sets limits.
You just implicated yourself there my friend. |

I don't consider paying for everything getting "pushed around," especially if the woman deserves it. I treat whomever I'm with like a princess.
I think our difference in view may be due in part to my chosen profession, which tends to attract a certain type of woman. :whip:
but hey, if I hav fun, everyone's happy right? |

| I've never paid for one thing for my GF... I mean, I'll get her a birthday present or something, but she can pay for her own drinks and her own tickets. We've been together for 1.5 years. There is absolutely no reason you should be paying for other people unless they're planning on paying for you at some time as well. |

Complete user. Why you bothered with meeting her in the first place after the whole "financial" discussion is beyond me.
Good thing you decided not to get back together with her. If she'd have told me that i was nice therefore i would pay for her gas even though she had the money for it i would have laughed and told her plainly to go f*uck herself.
If she keeps calling you, telling her that might be a good option. You might also mention you're not into bitches who use men for their money and tell her you're not up for some bitch who's going to make you go bankrupt after a month of dating. If she wants someone like that she's better off going to a singles bar :p |

My saying is this:
If you want to be treated like a princess you best be treating me like a prince because last i checked, princesses don't date peasants. |

usually i would have cut her off but i figured there was no harm in seeing how it went since i was going to these places with my friends either way. |

There's a difference between treating the girl you're with like a princess and getting walked on. You can treat a girl well without all that crap about "oh you have to pay for everything now because i'm shagging you"... whatever! If that's what they're after, they might as well become call girls, pays better.
Besides, after one too many girls like that you'll end up being bitter and resentful when you realise being used is just not that much fun. |

I guess... i would have had a semi-stroke though lol
I've been asked by previous (and bastard) boyfriends how much money my parents made. At first i had no problem telling them until i realised the aforementioned ex bastards thought that they could sucker money out of me because my parents were well off :wtf: |

Jayx1......
I REALLY gained respect for you in this situation.
I never have a problem taking care of a girl, but
if some BROAD tried to pull this gas trick?
Honestly, i'd have to take a few deep breaths.
THANK GOD you didn't succumb to her - GREAT job dood.:D |

Money shouldnt even be an issue unless you are well into a relationship. Even then it should only be about " we cant do that this weekend because im broke" instead of "how much money do you make so i can leach off of you?"
here is some equality for you...
Women asking me what my salary is is no different than a guy asking what bra size she is or how what her technique is for giving head. They are all rude and innapropriate things to ask a nearly complete stranger. |

The gas trick was the topper to all the other events that had already implicated her. |
