First of all I find it rather funny that there’s no direct link from his website and that the announcement of the tracklist in not mention on the his official home page. Also the web page containing the tracklist seems to be rather dull and something any computer geek with basic computer knowledge could produce. The CD cover is basically a copy from one of his posters and the outlining of the track list can be easily made with a simple word document program so it could highly been forged. Also there seems to be a lot of so called promised and 100% confirmed tracks not listed. I mean why promise something when it’s not featured. PVD had some idea of what was on the CD. The produced TL on the webpage seemed to have a lot of spelling errors. I don’t think someone in charge of putting this on his website would without proof reading it first or at least checking it. I mean there’s an “e” missing on Adrenline. Blackbird is actually Blackboard and track 12 on CD 1 is out of place. I mean the name of the artist comes first and then the title of the song but it’s the other way around just for track 12. I highly doubt they would post a TL with so many errors. By looking at the tracklist, some of the tracks seem kind of hard to mix into, I mean PVD is know to do the impossible but come on why should he choose to mix two entirely different tracks back to back. He’d pick something easier and better sounding to mix into. I also highly doubt he’d pick such a TL, I mean come on that’s not PVD at all. There seems to be so many highly over played tunes. Again I may be wrong but this is just my two cents.

And if its real then god help us all, Trance is Lost!

At first i didnt really believe what u were saying. The main thing that got me questioning the playlist was that now that i check the paul van dyk website again...I dont see it, as if it was taken down. hmmmmm
sandstorm03
it is still on pauls site

Well according to one of his interviews he said he was going to be doing stuff like mixing vocals of one track with the music from another, from the tracklist this isn't apparent. If you are optimistic you can assume that the tracklist is fake, but if you are not you can at least give the guy some credit i.e. judging the mix by the tracklist is a hasty judgement, the tracks are supposed to be mixed, remixed and edited.

Personally I think that if he makes a good mix from this tracklist then it will be far more impressive than an average mix with a great tracklist.

Also thanks to the dude for pointing out the Closing party thing, I for some reason was under the impression that the September 15th Gig was the closing party...:eyes:...I'm just wondering why they decided to have tiesto instead of PvD :whip:

I dunno myself. I intended to go Cream Closing this year aswell, but when I saw that it was with Tiesto i changed my decision.

my argument as to why the tracklist is fake is because if you bakc and check there are so many songs, for example "ross anneheim - in the past" that are supposed to be in tpod2 and is confirmed in their website which are not there. also paul said that there would be a new record called politics which is not in the tracklist either. so hopefully either some hacker pulled this one of, or paul better be the remix master if he wants to pull something good out of this tracklist.

Also why would he tell all these artists that their tracks will be included in the tpod2 and then pull them out, it would not make sense after all the legal issues and stuff to just throw it down the drain.

well! i know dj vesiga, his track was also once included:
DJ Vesiga vs Jomar - Nightoperator

he posted it in another forum, then i asked him yesterday ig his track is still on tpod2 and he said NO...so he got confirmation and then pvd changed it again, he already since a longer time!

PvD will have had probably well over 100 tracks for TPOD2 ... just because he was sent them all doesn't mean they were going to make the final cut.
something_2_tel
Well that is a good point because on speculation threads such as these people assumed "Paul van Dyk has asked for this record for his upcoming mix TPOD2" meant that its going to be on there. That is bull! But songs which were confirmed as in "This track IS on TPOD2", unless they meant the same thing as the previous line and by mistake wrote this instead, this means that the track is in there in some form or shape. Also I refuse to believe that "Say Hello" is not on there...perhaps he stuck the vocals on some other track (like he said he would do) but at least there should have been some kind of credit for it :S
