wow are you serious fast??

quebec accent is the best....french people AND the way they talk is too "snob" and its sounds gay as hell....
I would say its the same comparison as american english and british english....one is casual and practical...the other sounds like litterature...
fastmp3
lol of course i'm serious , and quebecois is not practical at all , i saw some things that made me wanna cry tellement vous écorchez la langue de vos ancetres , notamment des traductions stupides mot-a-mot de l'anglais
Marcus007
The Parisians think they're hot with their pronouncitations. My girlfriend and I worked with some Parisians over the summer and we'd always laugh at how they pronounce some of their .

eese creAME = creme glacee?
tes roulou = tu es lourd

TA MERE Suce des bites en enfer!
fastmp3
lol Marcus t'es trop relou :p

c'est du "verlan" (francais a l'envers) , it's a slang that's all !
morsy

example: france french
faire du shopping

quebec french
Aller Magaziner

which one is borrowing from the english language??

this is quite stupid comments

A montreal is the least french city in quebec.....well close. If you go east and north of montreal. You'll find a french that is much more pure then Anything France can come up with

France french has been poluted over the years Americanism

tons of english words dropped in

Quebec french on the other hand has probably remained on of the most pure in the world up the probably the last 3 - 4 decades. This is mostly due to the fact that french settlers in north america where farmers and dispite the English take over la nouvelle france, the english where never able to assimilate the french. Reason why, very simple french in north america where un-educated and had a lack of access to much of the modern world. many could not read and live in the middle of nowhere, so for at least two centuries the language did not change at all. modern area however has changed this. TV and since almost everyone reads, its no longer the same scenario. But french quebecois is still much more french then anything france can bring. Example of how quebecois has remained over the years

last week at work some guys comes up to me and says.

J'peux tu me tirer une buche

no offence but me half french and half english from ontario. i was like what the hell does that mean.

apperently it mean, can i sit down.

still using this from the old lumberjack who would ask if they could pull a log of wook to sit next to the other lumber jack. Expression still exist.

French quebec less good then France.

Mike i invite you to read my post again ! i said that quebecois stinks because they keep on translating words from english and sometimes it's horrible !

i say keep those english words you don't have to translate everything !

je préfere dire "je vais faire du shopping" plutot que "magasiner" , et ce qui me tue le plus c'est showroom traduit en quebecois ... une salle de montre , WHAT THE :whip:
