| o wait lemme be the nut to crack this mystery about UFO's= u see the World is a scary place and ppl are easily frightened by things whether it be a spider or a bear. Humans being the fragile creatures they can't handle the idea that another species co-exists with them and they rather believe that these UFO's are only a sign that yea something is out there or the governement is trying to play tricks. But the thing is another intellectual species has lived among us we just rather believe it doesnt exist because we cant handle the truth. It is for that reason that the governments of the world will never be completely honest because they know the mases wouldnt be able to handle it and it would be the end of "freedom" |

In what way would it be the end of freedom?? If anything, the knowledge that human beings aren't the only intelligent species in the galaxy would unite the world like nothing else could. I think people would realise just how petty we are, and how all of these wars and conflicts that happen, happen for the smallest reasons.
If aliens exist, and to be fair it seems stupid to say that they don't, it would be the best thing to happen to mankind. Sure some people might panic, but I dont think many would. |

really? nah ur wrong ppl cant even accept others cuz of their colors or religion. If another intelligent species comes into the picture that is truely better than we are and thats not hard to beat, unfortunately:rolleyes:. okey back to what i am trying to say they may be peaceful and others may not but a majority of ppl and by ppl i mean humans would not accept them and there wouldl be no unity. |

People can accept others no matter what race they are, they just choose not to. And mostly, it's because they've been brought up in an environment that shows no tolerance for people who are different from themselves. This is down to the parents usually. They grew up in a world full of racial prejudice, and so that gets passed onto the children.
But what have people been told about aliens?? It's not like kids today grow up, constantly being told by their parents that aliens dont exist, or if they do, they should be hated because they're evil, because quite frankly, nobody knows. And so these kids have had nothing to influence their opinion about aliens as a whole like they have with racism, and so their opinion of aliens and the fact that they may or may not exist will be completely their own. Because of this, and because of human nature itself, I dont think the first reaction of everybody to the news that aliens are real would be to panic. Why would they?? The've seen nothing like it before, and would have nothing to compare something like that to. |

Do u ever see MTV? when they have girls on they usually descrobe the man of their dreams which would be tall dark hari muscular a good personality and a foot lond pennis. any wya thats not me describing me but anyways u got a pop culture telling young onions to think the way they shoudl and ppl fall for it. and do u see Lou Dobbs? basically what i am saying is that the majority of ppl wouldnt accept them because they are taught to think in certain ways by tv and families and their so called God |

| Quite right, people are influenced by the media. But what I'm saying is, there isn't really much in the media to influence anyone. Yes there's the odd alien film where the alien is evil, but for every one of them, there's an alien film where the alien is peaceful. So the next most influencial thing on a child is their parents, and parents have had no experience in dealing with aliens, and so wouldn't impose any particular point of view on their children. For that reason, I think that a lot more people would welcome aliens to the earth than the media would have you believe. |

:haha:
1) You can't spell 'hippy'.
2) What about 'Contact', 'E.T', 'Close Encounters Of The Third Kind' and many more.
3) Kids don't do what they're parents tell them to, but subconsciously they inherit many of their parents beliefs and views. |
