And whats funnier is that 2 of the biggest "prog" dj's out there chose Armin's Blue Fear to close up one of their biggest releases to date...actually, one of the biggest releases in trance history.
So those that diss Sasha & Digweed...please shut. the. . up :) When Tiesto didn't even know what trance is, these guys, along with others, were establishing the genre that many of you cherish today. Hell, Northern Exposure II is considered the benchmark in mix CD's; that many many many DJ's to this day, strive to compare to.
In fact, I'm gonna listen to that CD in a sec.... |

I felt like a kid going cliff jumping up North in Tobermorry who is gonna jump for the first time and he goes to the tall-ass 100-150 feet cliff area and looks down and goes :wtf: "WTF... im sooooooooo not doing this"
then eventually he slowly works his way down to the nice comfortable NON-scary 8 feet mini cliffs and FINALLY jumps...

I agree. I actually read the WHOLE first post of the thread in just over a minute or two, and have to agree with some things. I am not much myself of a prog fan, I miss and love to death the late 1990s style of trance. It's a shame ... its true that a large chunk of trance thats being talked about on this site should belong in that progressive addict website forum. Oh well, but then I have to look around and adjust to the real world, whether I like it or not, it is what it is. |

Are you kidding me?? OH okay so trance is the only genre that is discussed on this site....hmmm thats strange....I think you need to get your eyes checked !! There are lots of people who enjoy prog on TranEaddict. TranceEaddcit wouldnt be as diverse as it is, if it was ALL about strictly trance. If you think it sucks, thats fine, but other people on this site enjoy it, so keep your prog hating comments to yourself.

| For example, I can't stand techno. In my opinion it sounds like horrible noise. What I do understand is that there are a lot of techno fans, who think the music is great. I am not going to sit there and bash it, simply because it isnt my style of music. I respect the style, but I just dont choose to listen to it. |
