Don't listen to Sandstorm, tek. :p
Rise is a great place, and while it's true that it is a pretty small space, and some dj's definitely crank up the volume too loud, making it feel like your head is about to collapse, when they keep it at the right level, it sounds really good. I think this is what sandstorm is talking about when he says its badly tuned.
As far as being L-shaped, the short part of the "L" is a little sit-down area, and should not count against the shape of the room. The long part of the "L" is the dance floor, with the dj booth right at the bend. |
