Well when I broke up with my ex (long time ago) she was all crying about how much she loved me but had a new relationship less than a week after so...blah... honesty is a much better solution IMHO

To maxpain: Every girl on here has told you to be honest with her. So just take our advice. You will see that things will be easier for both you & your ex, if you are just blunt & honest. :)

Well its not that easy because I can't say the whole truth because the new one has told me not to mention where I am going because the new and old one know each other and all but I figure that the old one will figure it out anyways or see me with the new one.

I can't say the truth because the new one has told me not to so if I did say the truth then that would possibly ruin any chances of ever going back to the old one and the new one would be pissed as well because I can't mention where I am going and why I am really leaving specifically so the new relationship would be effected as well.

In this situation I would be screwing up both if I were to come out and just say the total truth so telling the truth would be the worst possible decision to make here.

Just listen to yourself right there.

You want to break up with her, yet you are already thinking about getting back with her? You need to seriously sit down and think about what you REALLY want before you make any big moves.

I can't give you anymore advice than to be honest with yourself first, then also be honest with the girl as well.

Relationships don't end on account of infidelity, or because something better comes along. There were underlying problems to begin with, and self-justification may have lead you to being impervious to what has happened.

I'm with girl loving tribe. Be honest, have some balls and take responsibility for your actions. At the very least you'll salvage some integrity.

As for this new girl if she wants to delude herself of fault, or protect herself from the anguish that she will cause her friend, then that's her burden. Imposing it on you is completely unfair.

Why I ask you, why can't people take responsibility for their actions?

And since when has friendship become such frivolty?
