Yet more proof that the UK is the most anti-semitic country in the world

If the 96 (ninety-six) attacks against Jewish people were not enough to prove that the UK is the most anti-semitic country in the world (beating even the great United States, where 1,557 anti-semitic attacks occured in 2003 but America doesn't count as far as anti-semitism goes) the Labour Party has launched a scathing anti-semitic attack against two Jewish Conservative MPs, Oliver 'twat' Letwin and Michael 'bigger twat' Howard. In one of the posters, Howard is portrayed as hypnotising the British public saying "we can spend government money twice" and looks like a Jew (well, he would look like one really wouldn't he?) In the other poster that would be more at place in the Durka Durka Times, Howard and Letwin have their heads superimposed onto pigs, and of course, pigs are unclean according to the Jewish people and Sheffield United fans (altho if you ask the pigs, they would say the same about United fans, but they would be wrong, ing W*dnesday bastards that they are). Under the pigs is the classic anti-semitic slogan, so commonly seen across parts of the Middle East - "They say the Tory sums add up" (Did I mention the pigs have wings?)

Anyway, here are the posters for you to enjoy...

Labour withdraws Howard posters

Labour cheif hits back in poster row

quote:
"I fully understand and respect the views of those who have concerns [about the posters]. Those poster designs were not in any shape or form anti-semitic - what they were was anti-Tory and I make no apology for that whatsoever."

Labour ads row is storm in a teacup - which contains possibly the best quote on this whole affair...

quote:
"The accusations amount to a huge amount of bugger all...The story is a load of bollocks"

Well, there you go then!

Well, I'm not quite sure why you included the US in your argument, but since you did, I might as well correct your statistics. The number of anti-Jewish hate crimes in the US in 2003 was actually 1,025 victims:

http://www.fbi.gov/ucr/03hc.pdf

Despite the fact that it's still more than the 96 Uk anti-Jewish hate crimes (not sure where you got that figure from either), non-US people seem quite fond of using population proportionality when utilizing statistics. As such, it might be relevevant to your argument that the number of UK jews numbers at 267,000:

http://www.somethingjewish.co.uk/uk_jewish_faqs/

While the US Jewish population numbers at 6,155,000:

http://www.somethingjewish.co.uk/uk_jewish_faqs/

Therefore, proportionally, there are over 2.16 times the number of racial anti-Jewish attacks in the UK. That being cleared up, continue with your argument.

Either way, the United States is an anti-semitic country no? And even worse, at least the Europeans can blame it on the Muslim populations so as not to tar the vast majority of the population with the same brush. I saw a stat that said 9% of anti-semitism in Europe (or it may have been a particular country like the UK or France) were committed by non-Muslims. Now Muslims anti-semitism has its roots in the Arab-Israel conflict and the feelings go each way - anti-semitism from the Muslims and anti-Arabism from the Israelis - neither of which can be excused (altho both of which can be understood in a particular context).

On the other hand, how many anti-Semitic acts are carried out in America by Muslims (I believe the US has around 5 million Arab/Asian Muslims I think?) and how many are carried out by people more representative of your society as a whole (ie a majority section)? I would guess (unless you have sources to say otherwise) that a lot of these anti-Smeitic acts are carried out by your traditional KKK type people, which would imply that the US suffers from the more traditional anti-Semitism (ie the Nazi type, not the type with its roots in the Arab-Israel conflict) which IMO would make the US m a much more anti-semitic country than anywhere in Europe - Yet according to Jewish people and the Israelis, Europe is the problem and not one of them will ever make the same claims about America I WONDER WHY???

Not really an argument just an absolute piss take out of this rediculous accusation that these posters are anti-Semitic which they clearly are not.

Just to reiterate, for our American friends with no grasp whatsoever of the concept of sarcasm....I do not think these posters are anti-semitic (and even Michael Howard has not made that claim, otherwise he'd be accused of PC gone mad!!! Ah...guess you have to be British to understand that one...oh well...)

Hm, kinda related to this issue, did anyone see those jews burning the german flag in front of Knesset when the german president held a speech there about holocaust? And those few right wingers who demonstratively left the parliament when he arrived?

Well just goes to show that the Israelis/Jews are not immune from being outright racist too...

Ummm well since the FBI actually collates crime statistics and not the Jerusalem Post, I'm afraid I'm going to have to defer authority to the FBI unless you have a reasonable explanation as to why we shouldn't?

Every country is anti-semetic to a greater or lesser degree. What matters is what countries are doing to combat racial crimes, as opposed to blanket criticisms of those societies.

Haha so I guess European Muslims are not Europeans and are therefore not representative of European society??? Yup, we should redefine Europeans to singularly include white nordic/norman folk only. Yes, why that makes perfect sense. Much like black Americans are actually Africans and therefore any white against black crimes and vice-versa are merely anomalies that are hardly tools for criticism of "American" socitety as a whole. And of course Anti-Semiticism was non-existent in Europe prior to to the influx of its Muslim population despite history books which detail multiple centuries of abuse.

Quit the high and mighty "we are guilty of no wrongdoing compared to everyone else!!!" act and just accept the fact that Europe has a noticeable problem of anti-semiticism in as much as the US had a problem with racism in the latter 20th century and potentially a problem with anti-muslim culture today.

By the way ... no one claimed that the UK was the most anti-semetic country in the world so once again, there's no need to adopt an inferiority complex.

how so?

Dervish
Think the reason he brought up the "most anti-semetic nation in the world" thing because of what came up in another thread once.

Also I, and I think alot of people, get confused when we get all these "anti-semetic" scandels because I've no idea of anyone who has even mentioned jews nevermind critisied them.

Love the quote about a huge amount of bugger all, utter bolocks. Seems very applicable. :toothless

Silly torries gave labour about £5 million worth of free advertising on news channels. :haha:

What the ?

And then jews whine about skinheads and "world-wide" hatred of jews.

If this kind of happens you deserve it.
