right, so... i arrive at 394, spend a night in the little arrest chamber which is totally dark, get woken up at 5:20 am, get dressed, and they take me to my appointed attorney in handcuffs and legcuffs (which were a bitch to walk with), after my chat with him, they take me to the court arrest chamber, an hour or two later its my turn, i get in, the judge decides to reschedule my trial to about a week later.
they take me to section c, where i get myself a bed and start reading (its already late at night), the cell which contains 30 or so beds has little lights on 24hours a day, anyways, 5:20 next morning, i wake up by myself only to see one of the commanders waking up one of the cell 'managers', when he wakes up he starts yelling at everyone at the top of his lungs to wake up and get dressed and . 20 minutes later, we got morning countings, then the next hour is cleaning the huge cell then we go eat breakfast = a boiled egg, some bread and tea, we got free time till noon, then noon countings, then lunch = disgusting hamburger/chicken/soup/vegaterian-dish with rice, free time till evening, then evening countings, then supper - same as breakfast.
and finally, at around 11pm - night countings.
btw, if you give the commanders too much about getting up for the countings, the cell managers will go down on you.
after a few days in there i get moved to section b, in which i had the easiest time cause it has the least discipline. you get woken up by one of the guards in the morning, if you dont wake up, nobody gives a - you only have to be there for real in the night countings...
btw, section b of 394 is the maximum security jail in terms of you cant get out of there no matter what (unlike the other sections, and the sections in prison 396, where it only takes a little barbed wire pain to escape - not that anyone tries to escape)
cells in here are 8 beds - concrete with a matress, and in here you only have to clean your cell once a week, and you got a shower in it.
in section b you can do whatever the you like the entire day, and people are calmer there.
a few days later i got moved to section a, which has the highest discipline and is a tent section, due to both of these reasons, i wanted to get back to section b asap, and thanks to my asthma, they resigned me from section a. (in section a you spend a huge amount of your day either on your feet standing at attention - or working).
after i got trialed and sentenced to 55days, they shipped me to prison 396 which is closer to home, so my family got to visit me.
now, 396 is a total diffrent ballgame, discpline everywhere, bull everywhere, so, about two weeks after i got there, i couldnt listen to the commanders bull any longer, and i got a job as a sanitizer at the clinic, where i also had a TV and access to a free phone. i passed the rest of my time in there.
what else can i tell hmm.... well, everyone gets very artsy inside the pen and start to do all kinds of creative , like making necklaces out of bread, and some cool sculptures out of soap.
all the prisoners get 20 smokes every two days (only "noblless" israeli brand, anything else is illegal)
in 396, you are entitled to one shower and one 3 minute phonecall from a payphone per day - except for saturday,

| thats some wild Psy.. I've never been to a prison, but I've been tossed in the "drunk tank" overnight a few times.. Windsor is BAR CITY.. we have 100+ bars/nightclubs all within a 6 block stretch.. s like mardi gras every weekend.. americans tend to like to start fights after 3 CANADIAN beers.. plus the legal drinking age here is 19, so they really don't handle it all that well... everytime I've had a sleep over at the cop station it was for getting into drunken scraps. :thepirate |

nah actually my friends that did serve time said it wasnt bad at all. boring to . very routine. no butt in or anything like that. some people were cool with guards and got special priveleges. one prisoner basically ran his section of the prison and he got his own shower and stuff like that and u had to pay him respects. other then that nuthing big. and all they got to read was a bible |
