I'm going stir crazy here. I moved up to Leeds from London for Uni and have so far been pretty unsuccessful in finding one night or club devoted to banging trance. Is it really true that Northern music taste goes from RnB-Chart-RnB again? :nervous:
Someone help me out! Is there anyware?????:p

don't look like it, leeds thinks its too cool for trance

all i could find good is:
Technique: James Zabiela + Meat Katie
Mint Club Leeds
slinkyhead
one off events occasionally happen in leeds but as far as i know there are no major nights, and cant really think of any in the past either

Man last time i had to treck all the way to Birmingham and the wonders of Godskitchen for a decent night. 3 freaking hours each way on the train. Madness.......but also alot of fun :D
I think i remember someone saying something about club Paradise and some West Indian centre. Problem being is a bit of a club ponce and if the club isnt really good then i just end up having a night. Ah well the search continues:rolleyes:

theres a night called housework vs mission that has one room trance and one room hard house, in leeds, at the mission club i think, they had ben lost and leama & moor play for them.

best thing for you to do is head down to cyberdog in leeds and pick up some flyers, whichl let you know whats going in in the area. its in a big indoor coliseaum market thing, near backtobasics.

Funny you should say that. Went down there a couple of days ago on my weekly trip to stand in the shop and soak up the hard trance (its about as close as im gona get to hearing trance in Leeds Hahaha)
To find it has been closed down!!!!
My only connection to the clubbing world. Gone.

really? im not surprised though. cyber has pretty much disappeared form clubs now. i blame sweatbands myself.

well, theres a shop that sells bongs and all sorts of crazy cannibus accesories, that in the same place where cyberdog was, thats got a counter thats covered in loads of flyers. try in there and youll find stuff. leeds is a cool place by the way.

Dont even get me started on the freaking 80's. ;)

Ill take a look around see whats available. Yeah Leeds is alright, its just the music/club scene that bites. But if your looking to see the most amount of girls with out-of-a-bottle orange tans in one square mile then you'll find them here :D :stongue:
