You know my answer!

We're all pink on the inside.

Further - these spots were not designed for pregnant women - they were designed for people with small kids (men and women alike).

not the ones i saw.

They were pink and said "parking for mothers to be"

Which brings me to another point. Small children should be getting excersize. No wonder we are fatties.

well, why not? women go through a lot when they're pregnant. why not make their lives just a little bit easier? i can't believe this is even an issue for some ppl.

Wow they got this in Toronto now?

Hell no to this bull. If they can get in a car and drive they can stand to walk 20 extra meters to the damn mall.

it's never affected my life, so I don't care.

Go ahead, park up front. I am young and abled, I can park further away and make the walk if it makes someone else's day easier.
Special K
is it illegal to park in those spots?

im guessing NO ...

If everybody only talked and cared about the things that affected their own personal lives, we'd all still be cavemen hunting bison for sustenance. Living in a bubble isn't something to be proud of - in fact, I recall it being mentioned a few times in the "pet peeves".

Sorry if this sounds personal but it seems like almost every post from you lately has carried the connotation of "I'm cool because everybody else complains about stuff but I don't". Guess what dude, there are only three things that've brought us to the stage of humanity where we're actually ABLE to sit back and not care. The first is greed and capitalism, which consists of meddling in other people's lives in order to make a few bucks. The second is the backbone of science, Curiosity - both of the world around us and the other people around us. And the third is altruism, that candy-coated desire to make our world a better place, which often involves protecting OTHER people from something we feel is wrong.

Whichever one of those three is your personal flavour of life, they ALL involve minding other people's business. Passivity has never accomplished anything in the history of the human race, so if you think that your complacent (and might I add, rather snarky) "I don't care" attitude makes you qualified to criticize others, think again. It's precisely that kind of complacency that's gotten Canada into the declining state it's in today. How about this: if you don't care, then don't comment.

Our government must be doing great, because my life hasn't been personally affected in the past few years!

before I read this thread, I thought it was just some slang for vagina I'd never heard of. As a result, I voted I'm a man, and said yes. I wanna redo my vote now.
