I'm voting for 'As The Rush Comes', thought it was from the first listen....the overplaying merely added to the torture

There have been 5 pages or so of posts. But not one person said why they dislike the vocals. Statements like

any pvd songs with vocals except "nothing but you"

are quite funny.

What do you guys expect vocals to be? another "synth"? Actually have a meaning? having a meaning to your life? Its easy to say that you dislike so and so, but you probably don't even know the meaning of the vocals?

Sometimes its even the production that affects the vocals of tracks. For instance Jump the next train. I think the slow train mix is a masterpiece, which fits the vocals. Every other mix is complete dog . Another vocal production that sucks imo is Ridgewalker - Find. I can bearly understand the vocals, and the track does not flow well. Production or vocal problem i'm unsure of.

But there are some tracks, that are just like wtf??? And seem to have no meaning at all, just random mumbling, thoes are the crappy vocals. But i cba to go looking for them.

the original version of find, the vocals sound great, but i think the andy moor remix doesnt do them justice.

vocals dont always have to make sense to be genius imo.

Holden & Thompson - Nothing {Returning Mix)

if you havnt heard the original, the vocals are meaningless, but it still works wonders, i heard that mix before i heard the original, and i love it, a vocal makes a track sound alive, like it has its own voice, when vocals are used properly they can almost personificate the actual track so that the whole thing seems like its own lifeform, rather than someone elses expression of theirs. maybe im talking , i dont know.

I have to mention DJ Alligator Project - I wanna suck on your lollipop :tongue2

I remember boys/men danced and sang along to the lyrics on the clubs. Yeah, thats a thing to sing, I wanna suck on your lollipop! Might be ok if you're a flaming homosexual, otherwise its quite ghey :D

yeah its pretty much another synth, just that it brings alot of life to it. such an awsome track. bozboz is cool, i have it on a compilation somewhere. the one with the kinda groovey swing percussion and that male vocal effect thing?
BeeJay
Faithfulness sucks, that Tiesto has remixed that song is a shame.

And some songs just shouldn't have a vocal mix:

Firewall - Sincere
Ton TB - Dream Machine
Elevation - Clear Blue
Darren Tate - Let The Light Shine In
Electrique Boutique - Heal
Solar Stone - 7 Cities
