Wimbooo!:D

Quality blasting my speakers!:) Nice fx, bass could be better.
Anyway, i didnt like that intro melody at all. the rest is ok.
Yo wim, i think you should start to play around with some different sounds, your last 2 remixes sound pretty much the same. dont be afraid to add some ed up synths :).

Cheers,
Antonio.

its good, but it sounds exactly the same as what you have been making fir the last 2 years

Thx for the comments guys!

It sounds the same because it's practically my sound that I'm always using. I'd find it strange if I were to make a totally different remix and then still call it 'Icone'. Then again, it might still be the very first track Mike is ever going to have heard from me... :)

yea, but you don't see everybody using exactly the same forumla, even robert nickson, g+d + john askew tracks have more variation than the stream of soundalikes you have so far. don't get me wrong, they are good, but yawnworthy

And... my guess it by doing that you become 'original'? :)

i would say your style is original, but even dumonde didn't hammer out the same formula for as long as you have, and still are

and whats the problem with that??? as long as:

1) he likes the music he is making
2) a lot of other people like it

it's not a dig, it's pointing out the fact that to me and seemingly a fair few others that his music has became rather stale.

i bought both sorrow + astra and have listened to his music since the mp3.com days and the sound needs a radical overhaul, if i played a set of just icone/lightworks tunes, not only would it probably last all week, but the only variation would be in the actual melody which is where im coming from

will you send it to him yourself or should we hand him a copy at Trance Energy tomorrow?

i think you really can't blame an artist for having a favorite style and for sticking to it :)
