| Nice work Wim....the melody and sounds in the build up are excellent. The part following the breakdown is sweet....an awesome remix |

ok this is much better then your remix to warp.
Nice synth on the build up.
Pads are ok. They could use some piano to make them more interesting.
Lead is nice.
I like that intro bass :)
I see you added new fx...
I've heard the snare transition in a lot of your tracks.
It's still nice...
The kick is a little bit weak when the lead is on.
4.5/5
it's getting better....
;)
Have a nice day,
Omer. |

Well, I honestly didn't think that far... I'm pretty satisfied with my music and I enjoy it alot. Not that I want to really impress someone, just be happy to see that people like it any way or another.
I am conscious about the fact that I will NOT make a big chart hit in the current trance scene, which is incredibly overflooded with trance artists. Heck, it's even hard to be original. I'll be happy (and proud) with what I get, either it's with this sound or another.
On another note, I still have my education and will probably have less and less time for music when my 'regular' job comes in. I have no BIG plans for the future in the trance scene, only to 'have some fun'.
I hope this makes some sense... It's not that I don't agree with you're saying Gerry, I understand it completely. I just think it doesn't apply to me and the situation I'm in. If I find the time and interest, I will experiment. Until then, this is just 'me' :) |
Here, here! say what you mean Wim! |

im not a particular fan of twixt, but this remix is good, if very icone'y
cant believe its not me who was saying to try something a bit difference, but you know what i think on the subject ;)
especially now you are starting to get plays you dont want your style to get stale before you acheive a lot more :)

Cheers Luke ;)
Like I said, I think it's a bit early (not on the internet of course, but irl) to change style if I only have two releases on my sleeve. The tracks that do come out will be different enough from each other - they're also always backed by a remix. |

| This style owns hard! I like this better than the old Icone. |

Thanks ;)
It's not that different though? Only production-wise it's a bit different I think, I've redone my end-mastering a bit since then. |
