So what's up with Seattle...?

I haven't seen anybody good pass through Seattle in a while, besides the 21+ events. Did that new years -up screw everything up for the Northwest? All the good acts are only playing 21+ events nowadays. I guess I'm just bored.

What actually happened up in Seattle with J'00'F?

^^^^^on New Year's Eve?

J00F didn't get paid on NYE but still played part of his set, until he was shut down.

DARUDE is coming back to Seattle March 11 @ Element but sorry it's 21+

why not come up to Vancouver, everyone seems to be dropping into our city.

Also Im pretty sure that what GZE did on NYE has put a black mark on Seattle... so its gunna take some time to get that off... :(

And we were doing so good after Freaknight, I really thought things were really looking good for Seattle.

Or we could all switch over to listening to DnB, that stuff never weakens around here...
Actually, the only events I do attend are the DnB shows, they really seem to know how to throw a good party, but still pissed and bored.

I just turned 21 so I'm hitting up all the clubs when the big names come hehe. Digweed is going to be at Element on the 18th of March with Luke Fair and Eva, go here for more info:

I was at Medusa's a couple weeks back to see Bossi of Cosmic Gate with Scott Keith and Deckard, SK said that it was a good turn out of folks! I want to see Oakenfold spin live and I will be golden!

Seattle would seem dry if you are under 21. Otherwise, I think Seattle is picking up quite nicely. February and March are looking good (nwtekno.org). I try to include Portland and Vancouver. They both have a lot of really good DJs coming through aswell. I'm usually on a dancefloor in Seattle about once a week. Three times this week.

It used to not seem dry, everything was either all ages or 18+...

Seriously... no more 21+ clubs with attitudes, its something Seattle dosnt need!

Agreed. Hopefully this is just a short slump, though. I've been checking out NWTekno, and would gladly support the locals at various events, but there's been nothing at all that's peeked my interest.

Zabiela should be making his way 'round these parts sometime this year; hopefully that's 18+.

Last time he came through it was 21+, and most club promoters don't think the younger crowd would be attracted to Zabiela's sound.

Thats what I dont like about 21+ clubs, you get to many people that come just for the bar, all ages you get the ing random ass kids that are poppin to many pills to know whats what... 18+ is the best, you dont get the 14 year olds that are gunna die and give the scene and even harder time, and you dont have the crowd that just go for the bar.

The only upside of 21+ clubs is that the crowds are much more manageable. When Sasha was 18+ this past Feb here in NYC, it was a 2 hour wait just to get in. Far, far cry from previous Sasha nights, when it was 21+ and the crowd was manageable.

After experiencing both 18+ and 21+, sadly I would prefer 21+ clubs
