You see how personal everyone gets when I display a negative opinion on a DJ?? I tell people why a certain DJ isn't good, and all of a sudden, I'm ugly. Well, I've never met you, so I can't justify your opinion of my looks. And sometimes I post things just to piss people off (like, of course, the put down of women...if you really think I mean it, you're obviously a moron), so it looks like I was pretty successful in that manner, lol. However, the rest of what you posted is internet vomit, simply meant to have others go "oooooooooooooooooooooooh yo! HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!", so acknowledging it is a waste of everyone's time. Post something when, you know, you actually have something to say...
I must say, I'm amazed at how defensive some people get regarding music. Granted music as an art should always be treated with the highest regard, and being an advocate of the highest quality of music and DJing possible is what we, as music lovers, should always strive for. That being said, it confuses me to see that some self-professed music lovers are defending mediocre DJs. And again, it's not a knock on who they are as people (though it seems like some of you still don't understand that), but it's more about recognizing who sets the standard for showcasing the best music out there. People should keep that in mind more often when discussing music... |

i think the original point was that you should let people decide for themselves who is mediocre, who is great, and who just plain sucks. a person cant decide that unless they take the opportunity to first experience it. instead of telling people who to see and who not to see, why dont you let them just decide for themselves, and then they can more accurately "discuss" with you, and with others, their likes and dislikes about those said djs. |

Yeah, but if it looks like a turtle, smells like turtle, etc...Will you ever go see Louie Devito or Denny Tsettos spin?? And don't you think being compared to the former is judgement enough??
Anyway, looking back at my posts on this thread, I didn't command anyone to not go see any DJs mentioned...I always made clear that what I said was my opinion...no, it's looks more like the fact that some people are either very biased towards others for some unknown reason, or take one very minute thing and making a situation seem totally different...there are lots of pretty ignorant people in this world... |

i'm not trying to get involved in this argument, i'm just saying that you should let people decide for themselves who sucks. its not like DOOMBOT was saying "where can i go to see the best dj tonight?" he was just asking what there is, if anything, to do in philly. there didnt need to be a debate at all. |
