Gielen's Angels = Binary Finary RIP OFF!!!

| Has anyone else noticed how Mr. Cheese Johan Gielen ripped off Binary Finary's 1998, with his latest track "Angels." That has got to be a crime inside the trance community. He took the same loop and tweaked it, but it sounds more like a remix to it, until those horrible vocals come in. Anyone else find this more than coincidental??? |

I haven't heard of the two tracks.....but, I did see him Live
he wasn't that great....
he played a few kickass tunes.....mixed it up with three turntables which looked like the three TT's were for one mix only...
and HE DID PLAY A FEW CHEESEY TUNES.......
maybe Johan should change his name to Mr. Cheese....hehe |

What are you talking about? Twisted sounds NOTHING like 1998, it doesn't even have vocals. And what part of his TE set was cheesy?

I agree! there is no resemblane at all between these two tracks! I wish people would stop calling Johan cheesy as well. Go download the airscape remix of Ultra - Free then come back and try calling that chesse. :) |

Damn yeah i wonder where they sound the same...
I think a lot of people now is disappointed with new tracks and say that they're all rip offs of earlier tunes..
I don't find it sounding like Choose Freedom either..
well...
Anyway, Gielen played an awesome tracklist as i can see !

Dude, you're thinking of the wrong song. I think this is what you're thinking of:
Johan Gielen - Angels
I don't know if its authentic or not but it's been floating around on the web. THIS song song almost identical to Binary Finary. There's a supposed ATB remix that is actually Sequential One - Angels. Personally, I think it's just something Gielen played in one of his sets that got mislabeled.
"Twisted" sounds absolutely nothing like Binary Finary and as everybody mentioned, there are no vocals. |

| Fridge Fan, you're right... it is Angels... it was just mislabeled as Twisted. This song is utter trash... I still think Johan Gielen is the king of euro trash trance. He needs a new sound... stop recycling the same samples. I guess these other Gielen "followers" have never heard Angels, or they would agree. Peace out. |
