sounds like tribe is so anti-establishment that they have become their own dreaded establishment. YIKES!
Its bad enough when the establishment is run by people who at least half know what they are doing, never mind this!
Respect to TA. At least here they value freedom of expression and thought even if some of it's members don't ;) |

alexd as i understand is the only moderator there is no one else.
he goes on banning rampages, and that is why he is referred to as The Banhammer.
The worst part of it tho is that Jeff has been a member of that site a long time and way before Boa even opened. |

Actually I used to use TRIBE a while back but I don't like their set-up & there's WAY too much drama there too.:toothless |

I am not a paid promoter of the club, and haven't been for some time.
Edit: As well, I post reviews for a range of events at boa - both Friday and Saturday nights.
Jeff seems to start the review threads, and from what I've noticed it's only for the events he promotes.
Not saying any of that should matter, but I'm saying there's a big difference. |

What I'm saying is that when you initiate the roll calls and the review threads, and post little otherwise, your function on the board is mainly as a promoter...which is cool, I'm just pointing out how we post very differently.
I think it's gay too that he's been banned, but I dont really know all the reasons behind it either. |

It is definitely run by a middle aged Nazi. That's why my friend and his partner started their own magazine called Scenester.
Issue 2 is out on the streets right now and it is a magazine that is much better than the old Tribe magazine where important issues are always edited and somewhat censored.
Scenester magazine is a real magazine that does not believe in censorship.
