What about smoke machines at clubs? Are they getting rid of those as well?
(i don't mean vending machines, i mean the ones that puff out massive plumes of god-knows-what that all the breathless dancers proceed to inhale) |

What clubs are you talking about? All of the clubs ive been to and worked in in Melbourne dont have designated areas...unless of course you speak of pokie venues and bars/pubs...if you dont like the smoke, get out of the kitchen!! *or something like that :toothless * |

this smoke isnt nearly as bad for you as cigarette smoke, its designed not to be bad for your health, the dry ice that gets used for effects is the best, its just compressed co2
my mates that ive spoken to that are smokers are for the ban, its a small sacrifice to make not smoking for breathable air and not being stabbed by some retard that things their cigarette is a glowstick. If people want to smoke thats fine, just dont ing impose it on everyone, if you dont like not smoking, stay home and fill your own house with smoke |

Yup, the ban ( I think it's being imposed in 2007? ) is good for all involved.
You guys don't have to suffer at the hands of us selfish smokers.
And as a smoker not being able to smoke in clubs/pubs is going to cut out 95% of my cigarette intake, simply because I smoke mainly when I'm pissed and I'm pissed mainly in pubs + clubs. |
