I think any part in DodgeBall is freakin' hilarious! especially the part when the coach is throwing screw drivers at their heads to "encourage" them to play!
**
Another is when Bob Barker & Adam Sandler get in a fight on the golf course in Billy Madison...
another funny one would be when Bridgette Jones Diary when she runs outside in the snow storm in her underwears just to catch that dude(whatever his name was)!
ummmm..... I think pretty much of any the episodes on the Passion of the JEw DVD is pretty funny (although, that really isn;t classified as a movie). . . .
without a paddle is suposedly a funny flick!<---but i haven't actually seen it yet!

My 10 Top Worst/Cheesiest/Corniest movie lines ... EVA !
- J-Lo in Gigli- "Gobble,Gobble"
- Keanu Reeves 'leet hacker Ne0" reaction after his comp gets hacked by Trinity in Matrix - "WOAH!"
- Leonardo De 'King' Caprio proclaimation to the iceburgs and seagulls in Titanic - "I'm the king of the world!"
- Cutie Pie Renee Zellweger tearjerking heartfelt confession to Jerry McGuire - "You had me at hello" - awwwww...ohh, that's soo tweed...*gulp*...BARF !
- One of Legolas many brillant moments of relfection in Lord of the Rings:Return of the King - "The men are quiet...and the horses are restless"
- Tough guy with a soft heart, Nick Cage in Con Air - "Put the bunny back in the box"
- Ice Man Val Kilmer and Maverick, Tom Cruise share a tender moment in Top Gun - "You can be my wing man anytime."
- Renee Zellweger delivers another stright line that was later used by millions of men to get laid - "You complete me"
- Sugary Syrupy Simplification in Love Story "Love means never having to say you're sorry"
- The girl next door, trapped in a hollywood stars body Julia Roberts on the simple things she wants in life as told to the foppish Hugh Grant in Notting Hill - "After all... I'm just a girl, standing in front of a boy, asking him to love her. "
And now...to some of the greatest lines i think were ever commited to celluliod :
- Jack Nicholson as Col. Nathan R. Jessup in A few good men talking about code reds, honor and the inability of men in "faggity white suits" to comprehend the truth -
"You can't handle the truth! Son, we live in a world that has walls, and those walls have to be guarded by men with guns. Who's gonna do it? You? You, lieutenant Weinberg? I have a greater responsibility than you can possibly fathom. You weep for Santiago, and you curse the Marines. You have that luxury. You have the luxury of not knowing what I know - that Santiago's death, while tragic, probably saved lives; and my existence, while grotesque and incomprehensible to you, saves lives. You don't want the truth because deep down in places you don't talk about at parties, you want me on that wall -- you need me on that wall. We use words like "honor," "code," "loyalty." We use these words as the backbone of a life spent defending something. You use them as a punch line. I have neither the time nor the inclination to explain myself to a man who rises and sleeps under the blanket of the very freedom that I provide and then questions the manner in which I provide it. I would rather you just said "thank you" and went on your way. Otherwise, I suggest you pick up a weapon and stand the post. Either way, I don't give a damn what you think you are entitled to!"
- Samuel L. Jackson as Jules in Pulp Fiction. A biblically inspired executioner speech, delivered with raw, cold emotions by this cool cat with a fro -
"The path of the righteous man is beset on all sides by the inequities of the selfish and the tyranny of evil men. Blessed is he, who, in the name of charity and good will, shepherds the weak through the valley of darkness, for he is truly his brother's keeper and the finder of lost children. And I will strike down upon thee with great vengeance and furious anger those who would attempt to poison and destroy my brothers. And you will know my name is the Lord when I lay my vengeance upon thee."
- Ewan McGregor as Mark Renton in Trainspotting narrating the thoughts of a listless generation -
"Choose life. Choose a job. Choose a career. Choose a family, Choose a f--king big television. Choose washing machines, cars, compact disc players, and electrical tin openers. Choose good health, low cholesterol and dental insurance. Choose fixed-interest mortgage repayments. Choose a starter home. Choose your friends. Choose a three piece suit on hire purchased in a range of f--king fabrics. Choose DIY and wondering who the f--k you are on a Sunday morning. Choose sitting on that couch watching mind-numbing, spirit-crushing game shows, stuffing f--king junk food into your mouth. Choose rotting away at the end of it all, pishing your last in a miserable home, nothing more than an embarassment to the selfish, f--ked-up brats you have spawned to replace yourself. Choose a future. Choose life...But why would I want to do a thing like that? I chose not to choose life. I chose somethin' else. And the reasons? There are no reasons. Who needs reasons when you've got heroin?"
- The often laconic Clint Eastwoodas Harry Callahan playing the quintessential renegade cop in Dirty Harry throws it down -
"I know what you're thinking. Did he fire six shots or only five? Well, to tell you the truth, in all this excitement, I've kinda lost track myself. But being as this is a .44 Magnum, the most powerful handgun in the world, and would blow your head clean off, you've got to ask yourself one question: 'Do I feel lucky?' Well, do ya punk?"
- Edward Norton in the slow paced Spike Lee joint 25th Hour serves it to everyone in New Yoick with the " YOU" speech -
" me?
you!
you and this whole city and everyone in it.
the panhandlers, grubbing for money, and smiling at me behind my back.
the squeegee men dirtying up the clean windshield of my car. Get a ing job!
the Sikhs and the Pakistanis bombing down the avenues in decrepit cabs, curry steaming out their pores, stinking up my day. Terrorists in ing training. SLOW THE DOWN!
the Chelsea boys with their waxed chests and pumped up biceps. Going down on each other in my parks and on my piers, jingling their dicks on my Channel 35.
the Korean grocers with their pyramids of overpriced fruit and their tulips and roses wrapped in plastic. Ten years in the country, still no speaky English?
the Russians in Brighton Beach. Mobster thugs sitting in cafés, sipping tea in little glasses, sugar cubes between their teeth. Wheelin' and dealin' and schemin'. Go back where you ing came from!
the black-hatted Hasidim, strolling up and down 47th street in their dirty gabardine with their dandruff. Selling South African apartheid diamonds!
the Wall Street brokers. Self-styled masters of the universe. Michael Douglas, Gordon Gecko wannabe mother ******s, figuring out new ways to rob hard working people blind. Send those Enron s to jail for ING LIFE! You think Bush and Cheney didn't know about that ? Give me a ing break! Tyco! Worldcom!
the Puerto Ricans. 20 to a car, swelling up the welfare rolls, worst in' parade in the city. And don't even get me started on the Dom-in-i-cans, 'cause they make the Puerto Ricans look good.
the Bensonhurst Italians with their palmaded hair, their nylon warm-up suits, their St. Anthony medallions, swinging their, Jason Giambi, Louisville slugger, baseball bats, trying to audition for the Sopranos.
the Upper East Side wives with their Hermes scarves and their fifty-dollar Balducci artichokes. Overfed faces getting pulled and lifted and stretched, all taut and shiny. You're not fooling anybody, sweetheart!
the uptown brothers. They never pass the ball, they don't want to play defense, they take fives steps on every lay-up to the hoop. And then they want to turn around and blame everything on the white man. Slavery ended one hundred and thirty seven years ago. Move the on!
the corrupt cops with their anus violating plungers and their 41 shots, standing behind a blue wall of silence. You betray our trust!
the priests who put their hands down some innocent child's pants.
the church that protects them, delivering us into evil. And while you're at it, JC! He got off easy! A day on the cross, a weekend in hell, and all the hallelujahs of the legioned angels for eternity! Try seven years in in' Otisville, J!
Osama Bin Laden, Al Qaeda, and backward-ass, cave-dwelling, fundamentalist s everywhere. On the names of innocent thousands murdered, I pray you spend the rest of eternity with your seventy-two whores roasting in a jet-fueled fire in hell. You towel headed camel jockeys can kiss my royal Irish ass!"
and finally...lines without which cinema just wouldn't be the same -
- "E.T phone home" {EI)
- "Hasta la Vista, Baby" (Terminator)
- "I'll be back..." (Terminator)
- "Say hello to my little friend" (Scarface)
- "Show me the money !" (Jerry Macguire)
- "Bond...James Bond. " (Every James Bond Film)
- "I love the smell of napalm in the morning...smells like...victory." (Apocalypse Now)
- "Use the Force, Luke." (Star Wars ?)
- "Yo, Adrienne!!!" (Rocky)
- "My Mama always said, 'Life was like a box of chocolates; you never know what you're gonna get." (Forest Gump)
- "Why does it cry, Sméagol?" (Lord of the Rings)
- "The first rule of Fight Club is - you do not talk about Fight Club. The second rule of Fight Club is - you DO NOT talk about Fight Club." (Fight Club)
- "Listen, here's the thing. If you can't spot the sucker in your first half hour at the table, then you ARE the sucker. (Rounders)
Phew...This damn post took me 30 minutes to write -- not that i'm complaining. Remembering some of those truly awful/brillant lines was well worth the effort...
