first off i have to update u. i was laid off from this company because of lack of work. but they didnt want to lay me off so they lent me out to another company for a few weeks till things start picking up again. which is really cool. however i'm now in this shop, where everyone is ed up off of some drug and everyone hates eachother, cept for me of course. anyways i got 2 stories abt this place.
1st story happened today. i go to leave work and i put my lunch bag on this table for a bit while i make my rounds and tell everyone to have a good weekend. i come back and the lil indian in the back is painting a wall box with this black tar on the same table i put down my lunchbag. not thinking of anything i took my lunch bag slap hands with the lil guy and was off on my way home merrily. i put my lunchbag on my passenger seat and start driving. halfway home i go to get a freakin banana i saved from lunch and knoc over my lunchbag to realize that tar that lil was using was all over my in seat. i just spent an hour and a half scrubbing my interior. my seat was BLACK as black as night. it looked like someone set fire to my seat.
anyways story number 2. the more intresting of the 2. well like i said before nobody likes eachother in the shop. and i mean nobody. everyone talks abt everyone else. its the worst work environment ever. anyways everyday the radio is always on Q107. 24/7. the same cheesey classic rock all day. so yesterday i finally got sick of it and turned the channel to edge 102 to switch it up a bit. all of a sudden Joe(a fellow worker ) turns to me and was like "eh i was l;istening to that!" "and i repeated "yeah i know we';ve been listening to it straight for 2 weeks, lets listen to soething else for a half hour". he replies, "wtf man serious i just want to listen to Q and work in peace". i decide fine, whatever. so i go to switch it back. all of a sudden another worker says " that dont switch it back eric. we've been listening to this in for a year now. i want to listen to edge too." Joe replies "hey U MAN" and then another worker pops out of nowhere and yells back at him "NO YOU! YOUVE BEEN A IN PROBLEM SINCE THE FIRST DAY U IN STARTED HERE U IN PRICK!" then another guy jumps in defending joe and Q107 and next thing i know the whole work place erupts ppl start throwing at eachother and they decide to take it outside. so everyone leaves the shop and goes outside. form that point on i have no clue what the happened cause i went back to my bench put the radio on edge and continued with my work. however i did see managers run from the office outside and heard more of an uproar.
1 week at that company and i started a sheet metalist revolution |
