Question for the Dutch
View this Thread in Original format

This is a question i'm asking of other countries just to get a comparison.

In Holland would you ever get a group of 1st generation Dutch claiming to be another nationality just because one or more parents were born there? Would they ever feel "closer" to that heritage than they do to Dutch heritage even though they were born in Holland and have never set foot in that country they claim?

That thread does nothing for my question.

You can ask all your questions about Holland in the thread I posted earlier. Or just just don't ask questions.

This group already exists; main example is a soccerplayer who's invited to both his "homecountry" and our country and only chooses for the netherlands because this is better for his career.

In society this feeling is much more common. After the murder of Theo van Gogh (islam critic) there was a great gap between the domestic and "foreign" groups.

We have a special thread for asking questions about Holland, because otherwise we would probably have 35 different threads with questions each week. That's why.

Yeah, we have that policy :p Questions about Holland must be in the sticky. We aren't fasist at all but we like it orginized. So next time...ask ik in the Holland Info thread. Every week someone has a general question about Holland. We are no question/amswer forum, we like to talk about dance music. We aren't a information desk :)
