I am not stuck on being like Armin or Tiesto. I play what I primarily like, which includes trance tunes from various timeframes and artists. Tunes that people heard hundred times? Where I live, if I ask 100 random people who is Armin van Buuren, they'll look at me funny, like I just spoke to them in a different language. Before I DJ'ed, I was into EDM for a long time. Long enough, to not remember when I first started listening. So, it is not like I just heard trance and bought myself some decks to look cool. I would be much cooler if I spun hip-hop or r&b, where I live. But I HATE hip-hop and r&b. Get the flow?
With your attitude, I don't think you'll be able to explain a person where to locate a power button on a computer. It will be a bunch of insults regarding how you have more intelligence than that other person, because, you know the true meaning and location of a power button. Still with me? |
