I've told you why trance is stupid in like the past 10 threads about this. It's cheesy, easily listenable, and its listeners usually have very little knowledge of EDM.
And seriously, off with the tranceaddict argument already, this forum is not just meant for discussion about trance today. Infact it's not an exclusive trance forum in the first place. |

1. Cheesy
Grandiloquent, pompous melodies. Very obvious way to get the message across. When it's vocal, the lyrics are very shallow.
2. Easily listenable

3. Dumbass listeners
Just look around you. These people think Digweed and Zabiela play trance. Everything is trance, trance, trance. If it's not, they won't listen to it. |

Easy mistake to make seen as the lines between Prog and trance have been blured for some time.
Instead of flaming them why dont you share your open mind with them and educate them into other genres? |

Haha, yeah. Did you see my thread about acid jazz? "How can you like it? It's sick, sick music" Yes, it's sick because it's alittle more experimental than your beloved trance, which won't ever change because it's making enough money now. |

| Ory, I'm hoping you're so zealous not just about your musical preferences, but your point of view in everything else that pertains to life in the real world. But seriously, one day somebody will beat the living out of you. I am not trying to threat you or anything, I'm just being sensible. If you claim to be musically "educated" you might as well use a similar philosophy with your fellow peers on this forum and/or in real life. All in all, you should try to practice proper camaraderie etiquette instead of bashing people because they don't have your same musical preferences. Have some class, please. |

Well this is predominatly a Trance site, and like i suggested in that thread (in the kindest of intentions), "try an acid jazz forum" and just because i suggested that, you went on a trip about how im immature etc. etc.
the thing is you think this site is not open minded, well then why ask about Acid jazz when you will only get flamed? i know because you like arguing and thats the only reason why you stick around. |
