Hi guys,
I currently have a cable going from my amplifier to the line in of my sound card so when I play a record I can hear it on my pc and can record it or whatever. However, the cable I have is about 1metre long and I need to get one thats 2metres, where can I buy one online, preferably UK? and what is the correct title of the lead I am talking about? there are 2 connectors at one end that go in the amplifier or back of the mixer and the other end has one connector that goes in the line in.
Thanks guys, |

| You want RCA plugs at one end and stereo mini jack (1/8") at the other. |

why would you want to amplify a signal and run it to your sound card??? you'll overload the sound card's input!!
you just need to run a cable from the mixer's tape/record out to your computer's sound card line in/mic in. Thtat way, it's a line level connection the entire time. |

Isn't that the way it's supposed to be done? You could also use your mixers line-out/recording output, but I think that would be the same output as the line-out on your amp... |

I would drop into a Richer Sounds store mate - they have pretty much all teh types of cable you will need.
I think they sell up to 10 meters of some stuff......shuld be more than enough to handle your requests.
Link to map for a store near you |
