Word floorfiller. I have tons of games... but I don't even touch them, most of my time is now devoted to production/learning to spin/school/work and futilely chasing this chick...
trust me, i'd much rather be playing an RPG then living a real life, LOL

| I've heard alot of crazy stuff about Everquest... I even remember that there was once a murder somewhere in America over this game :wtf: I'm glad I never really got into that game! |

i threw out my starcraft games because i was coming home from school and going online to play from 3pm to the time i went to bed. i was hooked. i still have craving because i still have the icons sitting on my desktop, just whispering to me, "buyyy anotherr coppyyyy. the priccceee is onllyyyy 15 buckkksss forrr theee whollee setttt."
and im thinkin, im going to buy me starcraft again. and so i am once i get the chance. luckily, i no longer have DSL, but 56k, so playing online will be too difficult being on such a slow connection. so, i wont get so addicted this time. |

I had to have surgery two summers ago, and afterwards I couldn't walk for a month. Anyways, I was crazy bored so my neighbor brought over this game called "Diablo 2". And thats when the spiral started:tongue2 :whip:
I was so addicted when I could finally report back to practice I was upset that I wasn't allowed to just sit in my basement all day. |

I just started on January 13 - am I addicted? Yes, I do believe I am.
My days consist of going to class for about 2 hours, eating for about 20 minutes, doing (on average) 1 hour of homework, sleeping for about 7-8 hours...and the rest just seems to be filled in with World of Warcraft. :o
They need to raise level cap soon. What the hell am I going to do with my life if I get bored of this game? :haha: |

I refuse to play any more MMORPGs after final fantasy 11. that game drained about 1500 hours from my life..
it was fun (at times) but definately a waste of time. |

| Same thing to my school course mates who bought WoW. Our irc channel used to be really 'active' but since a small no. of them have gotten into WoW, the chat room is like dead most of e time. Now u know what happened :D It's really hard to even see them saying something in the chat room these days. |

It is worse than drugs. Worse than smoking. Worse than alcohol. You will get addicted, and it will drain you of your life.
Thankfully, my girlfriend enjoys the game immensely. We've both been playing (same room) and it's a hell of a lot easier to have someone who is doing the same quests as you are all the time.
On an unrelated note, I just went on a two hour crack attack on my term papers. Somehow, I managed to do two pages each for two five page literature reviews and knocked down another page (bringing the total to five full pages so far) on my ten to twelve page term paper for communication ethics.
But I want to be playing right now. :whip: |
Obv, I got level 53 yesterday. What servers do you guys play on? Im on Kel'thuzad, player name Aphex.
BTW, when all your friends play MMO's as well, you dont feel so bad playing 6-8 hours a day. |

yes mmo's are evil, ive just surfaced from a year and half LineageII addiction.
WOW graphics suck but its one of them ost casual gamer friendly mmo's out there right now.
