Well... i've been seeking some info on this track for months... especially since Thomas Datt played it in his show on ETN this summer...

was in love with it, tried discogs but found no response... then i was going to clean my HDD and i found this set of thomas datt... remembered that it has a lovely track in it...

decided to check TA and... :eyes: :eyes: :eyes: found a thread about it...

First of all, very nice work guys!I'm a huge fan of uplifting, and i like only a few prog tracks per year... Morning haze is one of those!

i can't review it per melody/kicks/break.... but i just think it's an awesome proggy track, will definetely play it when i'll have a gig!

But here is THE QUestion :

Did you found a label to release it???

Please, SAY YES!

:wtf:

hey man,

thanks for enjoying our track so much. i was aware that thomas played our track a couple times in his gigs and sets, and appreciate the support from him. unforunately, no label wanted to pick up the track. we were talking thigs out with markus for a while, but that never ended up happening. i'm really not to familiar with more progressive trance labels (even digital ones) otherwise i would send it out to more places, but its ok. no label means free for you guys to use :D .

anyways, we are currently finishing up our follow up to morning haze titled, "white widow". here's a link: HERE!!

thats not the current version of it anymore cuz we've made some changes, but you can hear the general idea of where our tracks going.

our plans now are to finish white widow, do a remix/rework of morning haze again, and then send those out as a two track demo. i'm also working on a solo project right now. honestly though, i couldn't care too much about getting a release right now. it just really makes me feel good that you took the time to search through several websites just to find our track. thanks so much for the comments, it makes producing worth it =).

thx peter... i've really been liking your recent productions. keep it up... maybe we'll spin a party together one day!

Otherwise i'd say it's good.
bekol ram

nice track indeed, nice ideeas, melody is ok, female voice is good, though it has that "amateur touch" to it. good thing you and your friend are consdering re-producing this track you could have better luck with labels this time.

cheers!;)

hey jay,

yea, we realized it was kinda clipping a bit. the stupid guy who mastered it messed it up.

i do'nt really hear distortion on the kick tho...

bekol ram, the track is still linked. so u can download it whenever you want.

sphere, it does sound a bit amateurish i guess... but it was the first track my partner and i ever really completed. however, we kinda wanted to keep it more as a chill song, which is why the percussion never really builds or goes anywhere to crazy. either way, we were happy with the fact that some labels considered signing it. hopefully it'll do better second time around with our new single.

thanks esco.. and everyone for the comments...

Sorry for bumping up this seemingly old thread, but I just wanted to say that I was really impressed with this one. It could maybe have had a little more variation, and some nice fx here and there, but regardless of that - this track is pure smooth icecold Warsteiner in musical form! :D Excellent production. not 100% fan of that kick though, but it works!

Good luck
